finally, here i am writing a new post. ive been busy the past few days pretending to be busy – i suppose some productivity has come out of it. i am almost finished with two of my three risd drawings. i started the third last night, and because i am sick of rendering and displaying the “technical skills” i may or may not have, it is looking something like this. i figured that if they want to think i can draw theyll be able to see that from my other drawings, so this one can be more conceptual. im partly drawing from the cheetah sculpture i have in my living room, but im making parts of the machine up as i go. one side of the paper will be the half cheetah half machine and on the other side will be a silhouette of a cheetah. not the best idea, but unfortunately i was massively stuck.

in other news, i had my first and i believe last interview today. if you saw me between the hours of one and four, you will have seen me freaking out more than i have in a long long time. practically hyperventilating. yeah. not very cool. i thought it ended up going alright, but i dont have any other interviews to compare it to so im hoping my interviewer thought so too…

also, i went to shake em buns for the first time today with clara. was gute.

and i have to get “things” up on my 23things website before chinese new year. i must because buck says hes told the entire high school faculty that i would. kewlz, no pressure?
